There's good energy here, with brambly tannins and lots of olive and bay accents bouncing through the core of bitter plum and dark cherry fruit. The finish has a tangy iron edge and a whiff of incense that should emerge more with cellaring. Well done for the vintage. Best from 2017 through 2021. 1,650 cases made.
Includes 5% Viognier. Deep cherry red. A touch smokily reductive (though someone just walked past with cigar-infused clothing so I may be mistaken). Dark peppery fragrance. Deep, gentle but thick tannins. Satisfying depth and a dark, almost charry finish. Julia Harding MW
Garnet red with good concentration. Velvety mouthfeel with impressions of red fruit and cherries on wet forest floor, surrounded by mushrooms. Furthermore peppercorns and a whiff of barnyard.~vivino.com
