Dark purple. Wild on the nose, very vibrant. Rich and sweet underneath. Exuberant. This is flag-waving stuff somewhat in Leroy gourmand style though without quite the depth and base. Just a little fallaway on the finish. The oak insists a little. Lip smacking. Jancis Robinson
Cherry, blackcurrant and dark fruits dominate this Vosne Romanee Brulee. Linear and focused with nice purity of flavors. Closed now but the quality comes through in the finish. Tasted in: Burgundy, France. Maturity: Young. ~jeannie cho lee 2014
